So, it seems logical to respond to the asked question. Even if the result was correct, users are free to use the superscripts created thru the Format menu. In such case, the result is awful and using the ones created thru the Format menu give a better result. Hi peter Of course, we may use unicode superscripts but, in many fonts some of them aren't embedded and they are grabbed from an other font.
See: +Menu > Edit > Special Characters > View > Code Tables > Unicode > 00002070 Superscripts and Subscripts > double click on the character you want to insert+ To add to your favorites: +Characters window > Select the unicode glyph > click on little gear at bottom left of window > Add to favorites+ To use favorites: +Characters window > View > Code Tables > Favorites > double click on glyph+ You may be able to get a better method with [PopChar|Peter. I have restarted my powerbook as well to see if that would sort it but it didn't. The superscript cmd cntrl+' doesn't work at all. After reading your post I restarted pages and now the shortcut icons work to switch the styles on and off but only the subscript shortcut keys work. This was after having bought the unlock code and entering it. I was having trouble with the shortcut keys and the shortcut icons not working to toggle the subscript or superscript styles off. It appears that everything is not working as it should. However, when I press those keys, the zoom level increases instead. It is still set as such within the keyboard preferences in Word. Cmd+= used to be the keyboard shortcut for subscripts.
